COVID-19
26th February:
Following on from the announcement on Monday 19th February by the UK Government, events of up to 1000 people can go ahead no earlier than 17th May. As such Oscar Krane are delighted to announce that our first event will be the combined Excellence In Healthcare event which will take place on the 9th & 10th June at the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Milton Keynes. Face masks and social distancing will still be followed and we will continue to monitor and act upon all guidance relating to COVID19 safety protocols at the time of the event.
9th June 2020 Update:
The health and well-being of our staff and event participants is of paramount importance to us. As such we will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure everyone’s safety whilst attending our events. This includes:
Over and above this we are in constant contact with each of our venues who have all upgraded their cleaning routine to hospital grade. They are all ensuring that surfaces and all areas of the hotels are constantly cleaned through the day. The measures outlined above are in addition to what the venues are doing themselves.
We will continue to monitor the government advice over the coming months and in the unlikely instance that the event cannot take physically take place face to face then we will move it onto a virtual platform instead to ensure that you still gain value from being involved.
Postponed events:
Excellence In Healthcare - 17th & 18th June
Rearranged date - 25th & 26th November
Excellence In Enterprise IT - 13th & 14th May
Rearranged date - 7th & 8th October
Excellence In Local Government - 18th - 19th March
Rearranged date - 23rd & 24th September
We are all aware of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) which is currently being reported through every media outlet across the country which is causing people to have concerns about attending our events.
As a responsible company with a duty of care to all who are involved in our events we wanted to reassure every one of our commitment to ensuring that the virus is not contacted by anyone involved in our events and that we have taken steps in line with current government policy.
We are constantly reviewing the current publications coming from the Department of Health and Social Care via the https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public.
We are committed to monitoring the evolving situation closely and will act swiftly on nationally issued information as and when it comes from the UK Government and Public Health England.
Thus far the UK government has advised that we are still in the containment phase of the COVID-19 action plan but even should we move to Phase Two which would trigger the banning of events over 5000 people the size of our events fall well below this level given that we have between 100 and 150 people in attendance.
Oscar Krane is in constant with all the venues we use and have put the following Health & Safety procedures in place for every event:
